Church Bell Ringing at St Peters South Weald
St. Peter's Church, South Weald
Welcome

Welcome to the website of the bell ringers of St. Peter's Church, South Weald, Essex.  We hope that this website will show you who we are and what we get up to as we are generally heard but not seen! If you would like more information on our Church please visit St. Peter's website.

We would like to share our enthusiasm for the ancient art of church bell ringing at South Weald and hopefully you may like to have a go and join our band.

Bell Ringing at South Weald

We are a lively band of Church bell ringers aging from 10 to 70+! We practise on Monday evenings from 7:45 to 9:15pm (not bank holidays) and ring on Sunday for the Family Communion Service from 9.10 to 9.45am. We have an able band, and ring everything from call changes to surprise methods on our practice evenings. If you would like to learn to ring, do come along to one of our practices to see what it entails, or contact us for more information. New recruits are regularly trained and are important to the continuing activity of the tower. If you are a ringer, you will be made very welcome at any time, no matter if you are just starting out or have lots of experience.
